Pacino vs. DeNiro

I thought Pacino out shined Deniro in Heat, although Deniro has him beat overall career. I wish Deniro would stop making such crap (I havent seen Shepherd)

they both play themselves over and over in each movie. its the same character but a different movie. neither are good actors they are just themselves. but are wonderfully interesting and make the movies they are in.

Wow, DeNiro in the tunnel is on the way to the airport gives one of my favorite performances. Pacino's performance struck me as much more average, and at least once as a little comical.

the book is entertaining, a very fast read...i look forward to the movie...

It's the third or fourth scene in Mean Streets where Deniro and Keitel are in a back room of a bar discussing Deniros ,"Johnny Boy", inablitiy to pay off his debts. It's one of the most nuanced performances i've ever seen, nothing of Pacinos has come close

i think deniro is probably the better actor...but i prefer pacino...it might have to do with godfather being the first really good movie i ever saw...pacino has something that deniro doesn't have some kind of super charisma or something...
