Default AT facing a raise on flop

Both players have been at table less than 40 hands. Here is what we know so far...

I'd say raise preflop. Doing that may have made this hand much easier to play.

Against 1 limper I'd definately raise preflop. AQ and AJ are probably in MP1's limping range . . . but hard to say since you didn't raise PF. As played I'd fold, you have a medium strength kicker against a possible flush draw/ straight draw

Wouldn't MP1 have raised PF if he had A/Q, A/K, A/J?? He limped with small ace and is raising to get people off of the flush draw. Other scenario is he caught set with pocket 8s and is trying to get rid of people drawing to flush.

Hand definitely much easier if you had raised preflop.

MP1's pfr % was 4. I'm not sure you can assume he isn't limping AJ or AQ.

Given his stats I'm not sure I raise pf. To raise here with one limper you are trying to get HU with the limper. I'm not sure this is the guy you want to ISO.

Good fold on the flop.

3town > call > fold imo.
Raise PF for reasons other than "it makes postflop easier".
