Default i dont think i can play this hand any differently

been reviewing HH's lately. i think that it helps my game fwiw. i reccomend it.

party 5-10

I raise UTG (four handed, eff. stacks $1000) to $30 w/ K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB calls

flop

K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

check, I bet $60, BB raises to $120, I raise to $275, BB calls

turn

A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB checks, I bet $300, BB raises all in, I call

notes: BB was playing agg. moreso than what would be correct four handed, by any standards.

I also had just lost a 4K pot three hands ago....the d-bag who won took bottom set and a gutter and beat my nut flush all-in on the turn with a river board pair, then left the table, and so did four other players. maybe that's irrelevant, i dunno.

anyways, 4-handed i dont respect his flop minraise at all. i think he does that w/ so many hands to try and cheapy push me off air and one pair crap.

maybe just calling is better, but i doubt it.

on the turn, blah blah standard.

oh, and i didnt lose this hand, nor did i win it, either.

I think you should be calling the flop. If he is so aggressive then surely if/when the board pairs he will put you on any flush you don't have and try to push you off it. Raise is good if you can fold out a good % of flushes but I'm not sure you can here. I think you can profitably call this down ~ pot size control) and hope to hit or get a cheap showdown and be good.

Did the river come a 4 and the villain have 56? Really?

Preflop seems standard. On the flop its possibly better to just call his min-raise. Check the turn and possibly represent a flush and check raise? If you just lost a 4k pot maybe this guy senses your tilting and wants to come after you. You gotta ask why would he check the turn if he had a flush? The turn bet seems standard and your not folding to a re-raise so it seems you played this fairly standard.

My problem with this hand is that you win the maximum when you are right, but conversely you lose the maximum when you are wrong. Bluff catching seems a better mode to go into here.
