30-60 5 handed site i wont say, but players can be tough. i have 65o and call utg's raise. i dont know him. the flop is 533. i c/r, he 3 bets. the turn is a non-paint and non-A, so i donk. why?

To block his free card play with UI overcards, while establishing a clear message that you will not allow your blind to be stolen from UTG.

Because should you have an A, you'd rather donk the turn and get 2BBs out of him, rather than c/r and him fold or have him check behind his mid pair.
Also, in a thread months ago someone remarked "turn donks induce folds, turn c/r's induce call downs." |
