Investing 101 for trout idea
I think it would be great if you could add a question like:
"So I want to get started in learning all about the stock market. What books are essential to have?" I've been doing some searching through the forums and I found these books recommended... Intelligent Investor, by Ben Graham One up on Wall Street by Peter Lynch How to Read a Financial Report : Wringing Vital Signs Out of the Numbers by John Tracy Common Stocks and UnCommon Profits A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton G. Malkiel Investing for Dummies Maybe a short description or value rating would be awesome. Just an idea... thanks |

Re: Investing 101 for trout idea
You did see the sticky with the title "Reading List" right?
This is it here In my opinion it's a bit scattered. I'd love to see a new list made, something a bit more concise. |

Re: Investing 101 for trout idea
the most important thing is to have a proper understanding of risk, most people don't. look up "superinvestors of graham and doddsville", it should give you a primer.
