HSP is the only poker show I watch now. I loved Gabe's "Clockwork Orange" thing on the last show. I really miss it when it's in repeats.

My guess is he'll only play for one show and someone else will commentate with A.J (maybe Doyle). I don't think he'll mix it up too much for fear of looking bad if he makes a wrong read. Unless he wins or loses big in a hand over hand situation, I don't think he will have a major decision. How much will he put on the table to start? My guess either the $100,000 minimum or a huge amount and basically not gamble at all.

What happens if Gabe comes out of the game, a winner? Instant street cred? Surely his commentary will be respected more?

I thought his commentary was already respected. Has an anti-Gabe movement started already?

Gabe Kaplan played on Live at the Bike last year. It's been a while since I've seen that particular show but I seem to remember him as playing a relatively-tight, solid cash game.

That's the way he played in the WPT Mirage event.

But, his commentary is still good.

I'm sure all/most of the commentary is taped later, so it would actually be cool if he commented on his own play. Of course this would make it obvious that it is taped so I'm pretty sure they wouldn't do that.

Why the hate for off strip properties?

Do you really care where you sleep if it's clean, safe, has a comfy bed and okay food service?
