these are all as of today's rosters and results:

CAR - undefeated with Smith back.
Dallas

Seattle is off without Alexander, when he's back, they're back.

I think this is a good example of why week to week rankings are way too reactive to 1 week of results.

SA would not have made any difference in the Chicago game - now Seattle is out of the top 5 completely, when almost everyone had them #1 or #2 before?

Well, I'm doing weekly rankings, so that is the point. I'd still put Seattle in the top 4 NFC teams if you asked me to predict the SB entrant, but that's not the point of this thread.

Right now, I still think Seattle is a top 5 team w/o Alexander. (though that might be homerish)

ok, but even if you are ranking the top teams as of RIGHT NOW, Seattle is still better than Dallas and top 5 I think.

Not homerish, you'd be exactly right.

LOL @ Carolina

People getting waaaaaay too excited over a squeaker over a terrible Bucs team and another squeaker over a team coming down off an emotional high.

Seattle would not beat anyone in the top 5 this week.

Instead of loling like middle-schoolers, feel free to convince the board otherwise.
