Default The Official - US Players Banned at Prima

With these Prima skins, Purple Lounge and Dream Poker no longer accepting business from US customers, this may be the end of playing poker for US citizens on Prima for a long time to come.

I wuz going to make a deposit on BetonBet today after work! This sux!

Why aren't they accepting US customers?

There are other skins like The Gaming Club that I think still allow US players.

I wouldn't be too worried....32Red (a Prima skin) disallowed US customers more than 2 years ago but this had no effect on other skins. There are still a bunch (Gaming Club, BetHoldem, etc) that accept US customers.

There is hardly any traffic at Prima today and I'm unable to get into games through Bet Holdem or 123Poker.

Bet Holdem phone support is useless, they don't know anything.

Anyone know if these sites banned US customers as of today and this is the reason, or is there a network problem?

Holy cow! 325 cash game players according to pokersitescout. You were not kidding about low traffic.

Is this is all speculation at this point? I have heard seen/nothing official other than the guy from Louisiana.

Default I was told LOUISIANA players not U.S. players

I'm the guy -- the older lady actually -- from Louisiana, and Dream Poker told me it was because of my residency in LOUISIANA. Not the U.S. Just the state of Louisiana. I have requested a cash-out per their request that I cash out so they can close my account. I have asked if I will be able to return after I re-locate to another state, which likely won't be for several months or more because of the tight housing market where my husband has been offered a job. No answer yet but then I wasn't in any special hurry.

I will let you know what happens. I expect to receive my withdrawal. Whether I can keep my same alias when I move to a different state and sign up again, who knows.

Purple Lounge was very specific in their emails to me that this was NOT a Prima/Microgaming action at all, but a decision they were taking personally.
