i hadnt read your results post but reading the original I thought it must be a call in that situation, villains line really smells exactly like KJ and maybe qj if this guy is loose, and even more appropriate with the K of diamonds in his hand, he is betting the turn to see the river for cheap and he thinks he may have the best hand at that point after all the flop checks,

on the river dont you think if MP1 really had a boat he would have raised, but he will most certainly call down with three jacks, i think you have to call in this spot as played and folding is really bad imo, against a solid nit though i think its an easy fold

I concede. Nobody is checking this flop w/ 2 pair, and a flush is either 3 betting the turn or c/r river.

Hmm, well, okay, I guess maybe it's a bad fold after all.

Anyway, FWIW JT (the main hand I was worried about) would not have had two-pair on the flop, and then also at my tables yesterday people were slowplaying flopped sets at strange times (though in this case it's not hard to imagine that if SB had a big hand he might figure this is a flop someone was very likely to bet).

As for MP1, if he's got a jack then it's harder for SB just to have trips. But who knows what MP1 has really -- my biggest concern from him was a scared straight.

In any event, I certainly wish I had called and hadn't told myself at the time that SB was unlikely to lead the river for $12 with a worse hand than mine following my turn raise.
