bought a house to rent out
Any interest in me posting before/after pictures as I go through the remodeling process? I'd like to get some input on potential improvements as I go along.

Re: bought a house to rent out
I would be interested in hearing about your process. I am buying some rental properties as well but have been focusing on properties that need little work since I am still a noob in estimating the costs.
What city are you in and how do you feel about the rental market as well as the expected appreciation? |

Re: bought a house to rent out
How do you suggest going about this if you are young and have maybe like 2 partners with not that much savings

Re: bought a house to rent out
Does anyone have any experience buying run down houses to fix up and rent? I'd be really interested to hear about anyone's success or failure stories.

What city are you in and how do you feel about the rental market as well as the expected appreciation? [/ QUOTE ] The house is in Winona, MN. It's a block and a half from a 8000 student university so finding renters shouldn't be a problem. Even when other markets in the area have performed poorly Winona's has continued to grow so i'm confident that as long as the university is growing, the market will as well. |
