Default Flopped set on scarry turn

Playing in a LAGgy 2/4 at the riverrock. This is the hand.

I was BB, i see 8c8h. UTG limps, MP raises, CO 3-bets, SB calls, I call, UTG calls, MP caps, all call.

Flop is:
Js8s3h

AWESOME!
SB checks, I check, UTG checks, MP bets, CO raises, SB calls, I 3-bet, UTG calls, MP caps, all call

Turn: 5s

oh jeez ....... so at this point I put someone on either AKs, or AQs, and some overpairs, someone with possibly JJ.

SB checks, I bet out anyways, UTG folds after thinking a long time, MP raises (i think i'm done), but then CO, and SB both just call. I call.

River is junk. SB checks, I check, MP bets, CO calls, SB calls, I call.

How's my play? I'll reveal results later.

I would bet/3bet this flop just about 100% of the time. Especially because you can sandwitch everyone inbetween you and the PF 3banger.

The rest looks good.

I think that the c/r on the flop is very nice. The turn card is really a scary card for you, but it is not sure that you are beaten by MP, he can be protecting AA-QQ.
Its a big pot so Iit is kind of hard to let this one go even with a scarycard like that.
I really dont know if i would c/c this one al the way to showdown or just fold it on the turn.

You can't fold on the turn, you would have the odds to draw to the boat.

i think my main questions are:

1) do i 3bet the turn with the odds of hitting a boat? my fear was someone with JJ.
2) river c/c correct?

I was wondering what people would think of a 3-bet on the turn myself?

i dont think you can 3 bet the river for value simple hoping youll catch the 10 out draw, especially since a portion of the time, JJ will taint those outs significantly. i would call the turn c/c unimproved on the river.

I wouldn't. If you believe someone has a flush, you don't have the equity to pump the turn getting 3:1 on your money.

I think your play is fine... i tend to lead at that flop just about every time, however given the action that was seen on it i don't think it would make a different in this case... the reason being, the size of the pot is already substantial and that UTG will be afraid of calling given the action the players behind him exhibited pre-flop, and you have a shot of facing sb with 3 cold this way... but again, given that sb called 2 cold, and utg called 3 cold it wouldn't have made a difference...

a read on mp would be helpful, but even then calling down is pretty much inevitable... I think mp will raise this turn with AxAs here quite a bit... although a set of jacks or a flush are quite likely... definitely no escape from this hand... river check call is fine...

Default Question for all...

so there seems to be a general consensus on most parts...

however if the river fills him up just a simple bet/call?
