5/10 NL: Getting Freaky with One Pair
At full ring, there are a lot of players that will float flops quite often, or so it seems. Some of these players will continue floating the turn, which makes things tricky on a draw heavy board. Is my play here standard?
5/10 NL Full Ring Online I open UTG+1 (1k) with QQ for 40, MP1 calls (1k). He loves to float flops. Flop: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Pot: 90ish I bet 75, he calls Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Pot: 240ish I check, he bets 150, I raise to 450, he calls River: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Pot: 1140ish I don't love the card, but push. Comments appreciated. |

Re: 5/10 NL: Getting Freaky with One Pair
do you see a worse hand calling the river? I think it's better to make smaller bet or check to induce bluff off missed draws.

Your raise on the turn seems a little small.

If your plan is to push rvr why not widen his range? ESPECIALLY ON THIS BOARD WITH YOUR HOLDINGS.

Might as well check the river to induce a bluff if you're going in anyway.
