Did this guy often bet into the preflop raiser with strong made hands?

I make it 1 preflop.
against an unknows i might just fold this with so many people left to act. Other option is to raise to 10 (the problem is, no worse hand calls this bet, aside from AoJh, or KhTo, but thats a stretch) |

I make it 1 preflop. [/ QUOTE ] Meh. I generally just use the "bet pot" button on unraised pots. [ QUOTE ] against an unknows i might just fold this with so many people left to act. Other option is to raise to 10 (the problem is, no worse hand calls this bet, aside from AoJh, or KhTo, but thats a stretch) [/ QUOTE ] That's what I ended up doing (folding). I figured raising to isolates may be ok in case raiser can't call or has one of the hands you mentioned, but don't know I'm ahead of raiser enough nor if any of the others yet to act may have flopped the flush. I figured calling was bad as it may price in the one card flush draws which doesn't help me as it cuts into my profits on the times the raiser is trying to protect an Ace with a weaker kicker. As the action played out the player to the left of me called, the rest folded. The turn brought the T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] pairing the board and the sb potted it, and the caller again called (leaving himself 35 cents behind). The river brought the 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and the raiser put the remaining 35 cents into the pot and was called. Original raiser had 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] for the flopped flush. The caller after me had A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for the worse A two pair. |
