20-40 live game commerce
9 handed...I view vilian as tight aggressive who doesnt get out of line and is decent at hand reading.
2 limpers to me in sb with 93 clubs i call villian checks. Flop is 9-7-3 with 2 spades. I lead for 110. villian makes it 320. Both limpers fold My action? And why.. Effective stacks are 4200 for me and 3600 for villian |

Re: 20-40 live game commerce
it really depends on if he ever limps with decent holdings. to me it really seams like he puts you on a flush draw and wants you out. he might have tens or a middle pocket, chance of 77 is out there of course. 99 and 33 would be really awful but a slim chance. If he is a player that can limp with jj+ i would push to 1500, if he is the sort of player that wouldnt do that i would make it 500 see what happens. re-raise allin, i gota fold, turn a spade i gota put in another big bet...anyway thats all i got. hopefully some people can reply with more then "fold preflop", sometimes its worth takeing chances, you cant play perfect abc hours on end and expect to make money live. Or maybe i splash around too much...

Re: 20-40 live game commerce
I rarely see any reason to 3-bet with 100BB effective stacks on the flop action. In this case that goes too I think. Call and check the turn.

Re: 20-40 live game commerce
He's the BB and saw a free flop ... he could have literally anything here ... top pair, TT/JJ (wanting to see a "safe" flop"), spade draw, straight draw ...
I would call the flop raise and lead the turn ... regardless of the card. Probably lead for 1/2-2/3 pot. You're ahead of a WIDE range of hands here, and really only hate 77 and 97. He could be putting you on spades and trying to take the pot, he could have a straight draw and using position. Most likely I think he has a good 9 and wanted to get it heads up. I really don't like checking the turn and giving him control of the hand. Just curious what you ended up doing. --Headhunter |

9 handed...I view vilian as tight aggressive who doesnt get out of line and is decent at hand reading. Do not three bet this, especially when out of position, its just going to make the turn play more awkward. villain probably holds 97 here, i just let it go on the flop. |
