2/5 Live facing flop push
Villian is a regular, she plays long sessions, 24hrs plus, everyone calls her mom, at the time of this hand she'd been playing for ~30hrs. She plays a tight game, with a couple holes, overplaying big pairs, and tilting when she gets cracked by someone "who called with crap". Villian has ~1000, I cover.
Preflop: Villan opens in EP to 35, which is standard at this table MP calls I Make it 125 from the CO with 2 black queens. Folds around to the villan who cold calls. MP folds. Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villan pushes. Hero? |

tight game, with a couple holes, overplaying big pairs [/ QUOTE ] Standard fold for me here. You're not getting odds to play with a range that includes a bigger pair or big draw. So what if she has AJ or a smaller pair; I'm not putting in 1k with less than 2:1 to find out without some amazing read. However, most likely she doesn't have JJ or a 9 here, which you probably thought at the time too. |
