After having this discussion with a few buddies tonight, I would like to get OOT opinion on this matter. What are favorite ganster/mobster movies?

2. Menace II Society

5. Casino

Great list, although I put City of god #1. Mean streets did absolutely nothing for me, and I love the other movies on your list, (actually, Donnie Brasco I found a bit weak too).

Also, Boyz n the hood deserves to be in the team picture.

I like Boyz n the Hood but I think Menace II Society is a better film and just couldn't include in an alltime favorites list.

I like all your choices and my list would look a lot like yours. One thing I'd add that I'll probably get [censored] for is A Bronx Tale.
