Do the ninja and FGP win with the villagers or the mafia?

I'm not a big fan of early bandwagons. I'll randomly pick somebody to vote for when the evening period starts, but otherwise will probably be absent for most of the evening period. It ain't nohow personal for whoever gets my vote so no defence is really required, I just don't see any other way to go about the first day's voting.

Anyway, we are upgrading our internet connection in the building where I live so I can't get on tonight for chit chat, random accusations, voting, lynching greek or xorbie or whatever. Don't take this as an excuse to kill me first though! I'm a villager of course and I'll be back tomorrow.

i'll be gone when the town meeting starts, but since we have no evidence at all yet, doesn't no lynch seem like a good option for the first night? Or am I overlooking something?

My thinking is that approximately 75% of the village is pro-villager which means that if we give killing a pro-mafia player a score of 1 and killing a pro-village player a score of -1 then lynching a random has an EV of about -.5 while not lynching has an EV of 0. thoughts?
