Default A little action

I have been playing about 40/20 at this table and my PFR have been getting no respect after raising the last 3 pots in a row I wake up with KK in the SB. Opponents are both generally passive post-flop, but may be getting fed up with my aggression.

HU I will often c/c and lead turn, though sometimes I just shove here, what do y'all do in this multi-way pot?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($47.10)
BB ($31)
UTG ($21.70)
MP ($38.65)
Button ($29.80)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, BB calls $1, UTG calls $1.

Flop: ($3.75) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets $2.25, BB calls $2.25, UTG raises to $6.25, Hero wishes flop was Q55...

Final Pot: $14.50

Lay it down. Have to give one of them credit for a Jack. Bad break.

I did, and figured this was a painfully standard hand, do you like betting more on the flop?

In this spot PF, I like to use my image a little bit, and make a ridiculous raise. They will be frustrated, and KNOW you are bluffing. I raise to something like $5 this time around.

A paired broadway flop eeugh...

I call and see a turn - theres a great chance one of these guys has a J. If they are generally passive then the BB isn't raising here.

I call then lead any non A turn for 1/2 pot and re-evaluate.

If we don't lead the turn then we will have to fold UI to the inevitable bet from BB/UTG and in that case we might as well just fold now.

I have had great success with this tactic at 50NL and below, anyone with experience using this tactic at 100NL and above?

Yeah, probably go with $3 or pot. I want to take "Hero makes weakish bet" out of the equation when it comes to evaluating villian actions.

My thinking exactly, and when I only bet a little more than 1/2 pot I was quite one of my problems when multitabling is evaluating pot size :lazy:

do you guys think that there is a signifacant possibility that they think hes bluffing that they may try and slow play a J so that they might be the ones overplaying a 9 or a big PP here?
