An odd slow play
Villan is a good lag who knows how to fold but will keep pushing if he senses any weakness. I wasn't sure if i should cap the turn.
Limit: $10/$20 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 folds, SB raises, Hero calls. Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2SB, 2 players) SB bets, Hero calls. Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2BB, 2 players) SB bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, Hero calls. River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6BB, 2 players) SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls. Results: Final pot: 8BB if he was representing a king, he might fold to a turn cap. I was pretty sure i would get at least 1 more on the river by calling. if he had king's full, he probably was going to lead the river and call a raise... so i get two that way regardless of whether i cap turn. there is also a small chance he improves on the river allowing me to get 2 more. |

Re: An odd slow play
I would just cap it, you've gotta give villain a chance to make a mistake and hang himself IMO. He may lead the river even after you cap, especially if he hits an 8-A on the river

Yes, cap it. Why would he suspect quad kings.

Re: An odd slow play
I played a similar hand last night at 10/20, except I had KK and the river put a third A on the board. Villain took four bets off me on the river, because I refused to believe he had quads. I think most players would think the same.
So cap that sh*t! |
