[2.25] KK in BB against lots of limpers/ ugly flop.
Nobody here is capable of folding. Not to mention, this is my 1st hand I decided to get in with. Obviously I have a tight image, but IDK if that matters.....
I am really interested in how the community would play this different so I can improve. Thanks... Re: [2.25] KK in BB against lots of limpers/ ugly flop.
I think I might just shove this pf. You've got ~400 in the pot before you bet. You've got to raise at least 400 (so yes, I'd raise a little more) to be meaningful. So now you've got at least a third of your stack in there and each call makes it more likely that the next player will call on odds alone in a huge pot. And like you said, you're not folding. Just shove it.

Re: [2.25] KK in BB against lots of limpers/ ugly flop.
Firstly, I would hate a shove PF, huge hand there. QQ might be a better shove. On these stakes you'll easily average >500 chips per KK you pick up in total on any level, and that's not in there (yet, anyway)
I think the raise is kind of small. I think you should raise atleast 450 here and that is if you want action. I kind of want to make it 550 and shove any flop. You're not getting away on the flop, shove is fine, but try to raise a bit more to get it heads up etc.. |

Re: [2.25] KK in BB against lots of limpers/ ugly flop.
You need to raise more PF- in the range of t500. You only have t1300, and the pot is already t360. Shove PF. From your read, someone will probably still call.

Re: [2.25] KK in BB against lots of limpers/ ugly flop.
If you raise it pf to 550, and get even one call your flop bet is only slightly more than half the pot. I want this heads up and I'm not sure 550 gets it there. If a shove takes it down, fine. The pot's already 25% of our stack, that's a good win.

But my feeling is, if I know I am getting it in Post flop, maybe a push here is not all that bad. I just hate sticking it in w/16BB pre flop, when, I may get more value post flop...still early on, ye know? |

Re: [2.25] KK in BB against lots of limpers/ ugly flop.
i didn't read anything but OP, but ffs just stop being results oriented.
he stacks off on a Qxx flop too and this doesn't get posted. hand is ridiculously standard, with the exception of the preflop raise which could have been a bit more. But the gist of the hand, which is raising preflop, shoving a non-ace flop, is standard. |

Re: [2.25] KK in BB against lots of limpers/ ugly flop.
Pushing is fine pf, but i feel raising gets more value. I don't mind raising half my stack and sticking it in any non-A flop if villians are really loose like you say.

I'd raise to t450-500 PF. I like the flop...

Re: [2.25] KK in BB against lots of limpers/ ugly flop.
4 limpers = ~7x BB raise = ~ t525 - t560.
That's what I'm raising to if I'm not shoving preflop, but I would just shove, because this doesn't leave you all that much of a bet relative to the pot on the flop with1 or even 2 callers. |
