with stack size a c/r would be ideal but it checking around is disaster, have to lead. 500 sounds good.

Okay, so flop wasn't that tough.

Shove and hope for the 4 outer if he has 10J or just have your two pair hold up against an OESD / TPTK.

Re: 12/180 turbo - top two on awkward board
shove and sign up for the next one..check back in a few seconds to see how it turned out...these turbos do not give you the luxury of folding top two like a normal tourney

Re: 12/180 turbo - top two on awkward board
I think what ssnyc is saying (feel free to correct me if it is not) is that it's possible to put a player on a set or something that has you beat in a regular tourney. In these 12/180s (especially IMO) players seem to take TPTK as the nuts and thank the lord if they have JJ-AA, screw the flop, they're all in if they get action on it. So with that reasoning, the shove after the minraise is easy IMO.

[/ QUOTE ] In a deeper and higher buy in tourney you could bet fold here...you will see J 10 a lot and also a combo draw where you may not be ahead...in a turbo you have to lower your expectations of what your opponnents will consider a good hand...in a bigger tourney I could find (though painful) a fold |
