I know that if im winning its good! but...
1)PTBB100 = BB100 in HU? (or there is something wrong with my pt) 2)What is a good BB100? (nl100 for example) 3)How many hands should i play to have a solid idea of what my bb100 is... (less then in SH, right?) ty |

Nah more, more variance in HU so you need a bigger sample size.

Re: HU NL100 BB100 ?
ptbb stands for "poker tracker big bets "
bb stands for big blind . Often times there is confusion between the two . One big bet = 2 big blinds 2) No one really knows because it would require many hands at the same buy-in and usually players move up in limits before they reach the "long run" . Answers may also vary depending on the stakes you're playing at . I would estimate for the majority of recreational players , that something like 10-12 big blinds or 5-6 big bets is attainable . 3) You need at least 50 k hands to even conclude with a high percentage of confidence that you're a profitable player . I've done similar calculations in the past and it would require something like 4 million hands to be within 1 bb of your true win rate at 2 standard deviations from the mean . |

Re: HU NL100 BB100 ?
hum.... ty for the replies,
1)i know all of that... but in my ptgraph if i have 1000$ in 10k hands i see a 10bb/100... so, this is big blinds!!! and normally i see im mey pt, big bets... right? 2)im not talking about recreational player... a 20BB100 (big blinds) at nl100 is a good player, very good or crushing player?? 3)ok! of course we dont need 1bb aproximations... ok, 50k will be! i will not go up in the level until i make 50k hands!!38k more hands and 1 more month!! |
