NL200, how do you like my line?
Sorry, there are no converters that work with Everest HHs. I just need to hear if this is total spew or if it works.
Reads: We just started, but I caught him bluffing with a pot bet on the river when he missed his straight draw, and a flush draw hit. Starting game 1937109064. Hallaisen is at seat 0 with $253. larsolesen is at seat 1 with $146. The dealer is seat 0. Hallaisen posts a blind of $1. larsolesen posts a blind of $2. (Hallaisen is dealt 4h 3d.) Pre-flop: Hallaisen raises $4. larsolesen calls for $4. The flop comes 5s 2c 2h. larsolesen checks. Hallaisen bets $12. larsolesen calls for $12. The turn comes 7h. larsolesen bets $36. Hallaisen goes all-in for $235. |

Seems fine to me. He probably has a 5 or air - I doubt he does this with (or even has one unless it's A2) a 2, and I can see him calling/c/r a 7 here. So yeah, you have a lot of FE here, and obviously you have outs if called.

Not really total spew... I like it ok. My favourite thing about this play is that it sets you up to get called lightly on future shoves, should you continue to play this guy.

Re: NL200, how do you like my line?
As a poker move I like it but I wonder whether we overestimate our fold equity in these spots. My HU game last night I did a fair bit of turn shoving, sometimes with the goods and sometimes without. You get called by ridiculous stuff and I am not convinced that shoving draws is as EV as we think at this level. I certainly got called way more often than I anticipated and often I had draws and always seemed to brick. These $200NL fish don't need anything like top pair to insta-call here.
