Our read on villain is 72/0/1.14 over 20 hands. Very loose that likes to call on the river.

I thought so too but a friend is saying check/fold here so I better doublecheck with the esteemed posters here. [/ QUOTE ] Here's a better idea: Have him explain why it's a check-fold. Think about the following: * What sorts of hands peel this flop? * How many of those hands improve with the ace? * How many of those hands benefit from you checking? |

* Any flopped pair, Any pocket, An Ace peels here.
* Less than the majority. * More than the majority. |

Bet. How do we proceed if he calls, and the river is a J or Q or an under card ?

Re: TT second pair HU
I'm betting the turn (and folding to a raise). If called down to the river, I'm check/calling, hoping to induce a bluff from his busted straight or flush draw.
