Welcome back...FU
Drawbacks of working for a large company that has a third-party food service...
I got married last weekend (Yay!) and we ended up with a whole quarter-sheet cake after the reception. We cut it up into thirds, some for the parents (who, through the vagaries of reception chaos, didn't get any ) some for us, and I brought a third into work. I step into the cafeteria, and the following takes place: Me: "Hi. I brought in some cake for my team, and I was wondering if I could grab about 15 plates and forks?" Food service guy: "We have to charge you for them." Standard? BBV? |

Congrats! And ya, that SUCKS. I wouldn't pay them and I woudl try not to eat there anymore. This is all after I tried to talk to a manager and clear things up a bit.

Al, tdarko:
Thanks! jack: Thanks...and I can't realistically avoid it, as I'm on a contract right now, and want to stay on-site as much as possible (although a cup of Starbucks urn coffee costs more than at Starbucks, which I also find funny). |

Re: Welcome back...FU
I'm getting curious.
What does it cost rent 15 plates and 15 forks for ca. 1 hour? |
