Default How long did it take u to move from small limits to 40/80+

Just trying to see how long regulars in the hi limit games stayed at each lower limit level before moving up gradually.

Also, how many time did u have to move back down after getting beat up at higher limits?

Your question should have asked number of hands instead

I played about 70K hands at 15-30 (about half without PT so that's a bit of a guess), 25K hands at 30-60 and have currently logged about 25K hands at 50-100.

But I continued to make cashouts at usual intervals at each limit and never really set a goal of building an online BR in order to move up. I may or may not get up to 100-200. If it happens, fine. If not, no big deal. I am not going to stop cashing out in teh 50 games just so I can play 100-200. Also, if I run bad (and I am right now), then going back down to lower limits would be no biggie either.

My goal with poker winnings is simple: use 'em to improve my family's quality of life. I see too many guys playing way too many hours for the sole purpose of building their poker bankroll in order to move up. Then, they finally get to a limit that they can't beat or just have a small edge in it and stay there (i.e. the Peter Principle).

I think that most guys on these boards would have better lives if they stopped worrying about building their br in order to play bigger.
