Magoo-Fest April 2006 ?? Official Pre-Discussion thread

OK.

It seems Magoo Fest just can't be contained, it must happen again soon, and the consensus so far seems to be April-ish!

Don't panic now people, we'll be having a magoo fest during the WSOP, don't youz worry! But life's a long song, and from november to july is just too long to contain the magoos, they're Bursting Out like cross-eyed mary, trying to get jump-started! And the train it won't stop going, no way to slow down!

But it seems the Magoos can't be contained anyway, they need another magoo fest, and April seems to be the time they wish to Magoo it up!

Let's get some debate going people! What dates? times? Magoos? Games? Chit-talks?

I cannot do it during april 20-24, I want to deal/play in the Oasis open in Mesquite, so it won't be then. Gotta get out of vegas now and then!

I would like to have a pre-Magoo event of a heads-up match between myself and someone else, probably either Kurn or Tilty-Drew, both were interested. I expect side bets and chit-talk tho, otherwise what's the point? [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

My original idea was april fools day. It is a SATURDAY, after all!

Depends on what the majority of people want. I live here so it really makes no dif to me.

Last time this one guy brought a money belt (thinking he was COOL), but I kicked him in the nuts, gave him a wedgie, and stole three-fity from his money belt, and used the money to purchase malt liquor. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Seriously tho, so far we have a couple of chime-ins for early April, like the 6-10th, and a couple for later in April. That's why this is a pre-discussion thread, nothing is set in stone yet. We need more people who are interested to voice their desires.

I must say tho, I'd like to take on Kurn in some sort of crazy hyped up match of some kind. Drew better chime in quick, otherwise he's toast, or there'll have to be two matches! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

early April is the Foxwoods Poker Classic. so I vote for late April/early May.

April is a month too late for me. I've got five days in Sinatravillle from March 9-14th. If a mini Magoo were to happen during that period, awseome for me. WSOP is a maybe, but it's looking good.

Who's bringing 20K? Are they playing you, Al?

I will be in Vegas from April 18-22.


I will likely not be playing in the WPT championship $25k buy-in but it's worth noting that it is taking place during those dates and may of interest for potential Magooers.
