Arsenal v Villareal
Anyone want to talk about this? Senderos hurt his knee v. Spurs, so Sol Campbell returns from his absence and broken nose, which makes me a bit nervous, but surely he's close to 100% or Wenger couldn't risk him.
Even though this is obviously a huge match, I'm not particularly worried tonight as I usually am before CL matches, because I am pessimistic that Arsenal can beat Barcelona in the final. Still, just typing this has gotten the anticipation going a bit. (Come on you Gooners!) |

Since when do sports fans think this way?! Positive attitude! Anyway, Sol Campbell on one leg is probably = to Senderos. I don't see how Villareal can go through unless they catch some sort of lucky break. |

Re: Arsenal v Villareal
Here's something really stupid: Barcelona may not reach the final (althought I don't see Arsenal beating Milan either)
I'm praying Riquelme will have a better game than in the first leg, it will make the game interesting. |

Re: Arsenal v Villareal
Once again ESPN will be showing the Arsenal match but not the Barcelona match. What's the deal?

Re: Arsenal v Villareal
This game was actually on ESPN2. I love european soccer, let's get more of it on TV!
Unfortunately it basically just fell in line with every stereotype that people who don't really like soccer have about the game. One team basically dicked around for the whole game playing for a draw, some guy takes a dive and almost decides the game, then in the end, we get the infamous nil-nil 90 minutes of nothing. What a victory by Arsenal. Their fans must be dancing in the streets with pride over their team's gutsy performance today. |

Yes, shame his legs were made of jelly eh. You wouldn't see a player like Rooney or even that diving [censored] Ronaldo.
