NL100 6Max: All in with a pair of tens!!!
You know those hands where the pot is bigger than you'd like it.....
Preflop I wanted to raise more but both EP position players were calling regardless. For UTG+1 folding on this flop was as ludicrous as everything else he did. In a prior hand he had called a pot bet with a 3 card str8, called again on the turn when he caught an inside str8 draw, and checked behind when he made his str8 on the river. BB was an ABC TAG, 19/10 stats. I'd been taking pots away from him regulariliy with cbets, floating and that greatest of all weapons - Great Cards On this flop, I was 90% certain that if he'd had a set he would have raised. Onto the hand... Party Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $121.40 UTG+1: $187.33 CO: $246.80 Button: $378.22 Hero: $191.50 BB: $85.15 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, CO folds, Button calls, Hero raises to $5, BB calls, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Button calls. Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($21, 4 players) Hero bets $15, BB calls, 2 folds. Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($51, 2 players) Hero checks, BB bets $35, Hero raises all-in $171.5, BB calls all-in $30.15. Uncalled bets: $106.35 returned to Hero. Tell me why I'm a retard...... |

Re: NL100 6Max: All in with a pair of tens!!!
Raise more pf.
Maybe the turn CRAI is spewing... but it looks ok to me against a floater, A9, spade draw. With your read about a set, this play looks okay. Anybody else? |

Re: NL100 6Max: All in with a pair of tens!!!
Was the check on the turn to induce a bluff? I would have bet about 3/4 pot on the turn and folded to TAg coming over the top with an all in. My guess is he has a set of sixes.
