Default 100NL 6m AA against what looks like 2 pair

Villain as new to me. The flop bet size was a mistake-- I thought the pot was $6 and this was a 2/3 bet. More commentary at the end.

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $52.25
UTG+1: $86
CO: $59.90
Button: $244.15
Hero: $113.70
BB: $36

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
4 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $3.5</font>, BB calls.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($7, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $4</font>, BB calls.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($15, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $10</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises all-in $29</font>. Hero ???

I figured him for K7, maybe K6. Against those hands, I need just over 4:1 to call, and I'm getting just under 3:1. I figured the chance he has AK or maybe even KQ and thinks I'm full of it might make up for it. I figured sets were more likely to let me put the rest of the money in on my own, but now that I'm away from the table I think that's some flawed logic.

i call this everytime and if he has k6/k7 i make a note. we will see k10-ak enough times where someone has floated and hit and now pushes his TP. i see it all the time

I'd call. A lot of times this is a moron shortstack who wants to give away his stack for some reason. Sometimes you run into a real hand. But I fee like most of the time you are more than good here.

I think you're good in the situation (for the price) enough to warrant a call. Even if not then I have some good info to note on Villain.

He is too short, if he has you beat then pay it off. Seriously, what do you think he's going to do on the turn, call and leave himself with $19 in a $35 pot? If you're not calling his push then don't bet.

Bet more on flop and turn.

I dont see why he would make this play if he had something as strong as 2 pair.

you bet twice and he has position on you so smooth calling here and letting you bet the rest into him would be the most preferred method, i think hes looking for you to fold here.

easy call.

I agree that its a call. But you think he wants a fold? Does Villain really think hero is going to fold after showing that agression and for only ~$19 more at that? I think Villain thinks he's ahead here with anything from 2 pair to KQ. See it all the time.

Actually yes i think he would prefer a fold. If the player is anywhere near smart he wants to get as much value into it as possible and shorthanded, in a blind vs blind as a short stack the ONLY move he has to win the hand other than showdown is to to reraise all in... the reraise is decent, enough to make a marginal hand fold when that scare card came out, he may have a king but i think its just as likely that he's repping it, and hoping for a fold.

2 pair is very strong HU vs 1 person, and if he bets on 2 streets hes definitely calling a 3rd bet. and with top 2 pair why would he even THINK about a move which COULD induce a fold?

I would go for the call. Have seen it many times; a short stack hits top pair on the flop, calls a bet on the flop and pushes the turn no matter what hits.

First of off, not a big deal but it is just a raise not a reraise.
But if we assume that villain is as much of a thinking player as you assume here then he has to realize that aside from maybe under betting a little Hero has shown agression and strength. So if he's thinking that much, does he really think that hero is folding for another $19 in a $54 pot? I'll admit that I've also seen this with complete air but either way I call. Maybe Im just closed minded here due to my experience in these situations with Party Donks.
