Default How much spent on WSOP sats?

How much money did you spend on WSOP satellites before you won your seat? Or how much do you plan to spend?

$336. Won on my first shot, playing a $300+20 on Stars. Did play a $16 DS to sat into the $650.

$436 lifetime, played one $100 sat last year on UB.

I'd say these one and done results are pretty typical of anyone playing these smaller buyin satellites.......

1 $160 Double Shootout on Stars

1 $8.70 Tier 1 on Full Tilt. Moved to tier 2 and then the tier 3 mtt to the $1k sat. Bubbled in 6th. Damn!

1 $80 Sat to $650 Poker Stars ME Sat - This is where I won my seat.

I spent $325 on mine. I'm not sure if there'd be an upper limit to how much I'd spend since I planned on playing one way or another. To me, the WSOP qualifiers are simply additional higher buy-in tourneys with more below average players than usual, all with a pipedream of being the next Moneymaker (purposefully excluding Fossilman because he plays good).

Spent $10 last year and won a seat. Spent ~$700 this year and still don't have one. I quit trying. Just gonna play a $1500 buy-in bracelet event this year.

I am going to work hard over the next twelve months to become a MTT Superstar, so that I can win a seat on 2+2. Total anticipated buy-in to 2007 main event: Zero.

Spent $6, three sats later was good for a $1000 buyin into a supersat and I.....donked of all my chips!!

I am purposefully not spending much because I am ambiguous about going (not sure if I can afford the time off from work) and avoidance is my way of dealing with difficult decisions.
