If UTG has AAxx he wouldn't c/r the flop would he? He doesn't want straight draws getting a free card.
UTG+2 looks like he might be trying to keep me in the hand by calling, indicating a wrap. On a scale of 1='Bad' to 10='Ready for 50/100 PL on UB' how bad is it I push the flop after the above action? |

Lafortezza,
When you try to read your opponent's hand, you also have to take into account ways in which a certain hand that beats you might have been played atypically or even incorrectly in your view. If there had been a flush draw there as well, then top 2 plus 2 other broadway cards and a flush draw might have been checkraised by many players here to get it headsup. But in this case, villain raised preflop, and then checkraised a bettor and a raiser. That action from reasonable players is going to mean AA. Also the flop presents you with no draws to go with your middle set. So I would have folded quickly. And you can actually be thankful that someone else bet so that a checkraise of your raise would allow you to (usually) make a better read and get away from an overset situation. If you later find out that villain plays top 2 like this, then you can readjust your thinking in subsequent situations with him. |

...folds like a cheap card table.
Good raise, but time to skedaddle. |

I fold here. I think you find AA a huge amount of the time.
