Default Fairly easy river fold, right?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG raises, MP calls, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.33 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, MP calls, Hero raises, UTG 3-bets, MP folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.66 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.66 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero ugh's.

I was planning on calling most rivers.

Any reads? I'd think I'd fold the turn unless the player was very aggressive. 3-betting the flop and following up on the turn sounds like a big hand more than the pot is offering you.

He's fairly agro and I had a gutter on the turn, he could play AK like this since I had been c/ring him a lot.

3-betting the flop and following up on the turn sounds like a standard 6max over aggro player spazzing out with a wide range because you checkraised him

I don't think it's an easy fold.

Since you made it to the river (not necessarily a bad thing, BTW), I think you're good one time in 9 here easy. Call.

Ya, because AQ 3 bets this flop and bets this river? Doubt it.

I would fold the turn.

I wouldn't expect Villain to 3-bet AQ on the flop either, but based on Hero's read and also Hero's recent history with Villain, it sounds like maybe Villain would do that. (Plus, there's some chance he has a worse pocket pair, too.)

In any case, I think the gutshot we picked up on the turn gives us enough to call there. I don't hate a turn fold, but it sounds like Hero was worried Villain was being over-aggro, and the gutshot at least gives us a way to get to showdown without making two incorrect calls, those times that we're losing to an overpair. I know the 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] may not help us and occasionally an 8 won't either, but I think it's fair to estimate that we have at least 5 outs on average.

I would call.

If Villain is really playing ace-high this way, why can't it be AQ/AJ?

Unless he is a real nut case I think it's a pretty easy fold. He's telling you on the flop that he has TP beat and your not better than that. The K pretty much killed all hope.
