first month @ 5/10 - hands & stats

Hey,

I moved up to 5/10 in early March & I've been struggling. I'm getting beaten up by TAGs, LAGs, and its seems I'm even having trouble parting fish from their money. I do realize 17k hands @ breakeven is nothing to cry about, but I'd appreciate any criticism. I've posted basic stats, a chart, and five hands.

I think you mean why call turn if I'm gonna fold the river?

Looking back I really think I shoulda folded turn. I probably rationalized that a turn K or Q would make me.. except I wasn't getting the odds [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Hand 1: You can fold the river.

Hand 2: The river is closer then it seems, but ok.

Hand 3: I call the river. Blind war.

Hand 4: Fold the turn if you're folding the river.

Hand 5: C/c the flop.

Break the hands up into individual posts. This is entirely too much to respond to all at once, and this thread is likely to get very unwieldy if everyone starts responding to different things.

Two comments on your stats:

1 - Your Folded BB to Steal is a bit low at 49%. It's not OVERLY low (mine is in the 54-55% range), but you might be overdefending a bit. Some people can get away with defending against over half of blind steals, but you must be VERY good at postflop play against a stealer to do this.

2 - Your aggro numbers are high, especially on the flop. Be sure that you are actually evaluating the flop and how likely you are to have the best hand, rather than just firing bets randomly. You don't HAVE to autobet the flop after raising preflop. I had to break myself of this nasty habit when I moved into 6-max games.
