Default Chip Reese

Name: David "Chip" Reese
Cashes: 23
Total tournament Winnings: $758,988
WSOP Bracelets: 2

Might not be that impressive, but he is widely considered to be the best player in the world. He's been called the best stud-player in the world. He wrote the 7 card stud section in Doyle Brunson's legendary Super System, he was the youngest member of the poker hall of fame when he was inducted in 1991 and there is a rumour that he once won two tournaments simultaneously. Doyle Brunson once said that if he had to pick anyone to play for the safety of his family in mixed games, it would be Chip.

I know that he focuses on high stakes games and that he pretty much kills these games and its players but there is not much known about this guy, we don't see him much, there are not many stories about him.

Where does he play? At which limits? Anyone seen this guy play or ever played with him? He seems to be the silent legend.

what do you mean what limits?
the highest stakes possible... the big game (4k-8k mixed game at the Bellagio). What separates Chip Reese from the other very good pros is that he never steams. Occasionally the world's best may tilt, but Chip does it the least. He plays well no matter how he's doing and he knows when to leave a game if he feels he's not up to par.

Mike the mouth has been quoted he'll never do well in tournies cuz' he has hasn't adjusted his game. More likely, I'm sure Chip can do well in tournies, it's just that he hasn't play that many.

This is the same reason Chau Giang another player from the Big Game said he was playing more tournaments during an interview on ESPN.

I am interested to hear specifics on busto. Chip is suppoed to be one of the best $$ managerers around and doyle claims chip is well diversified/invested away from poker to the point of him not playing as much as he used to.

Please post known facts on his busto status.

So for someone trying to tell us how great Chip is, you really don't know anything.
