Raise the flop. Waiting for the turn to raise would be fine if you knew villian would bet but he is likely to check the turn if he has KK, QQ, or TT.

It wouldn't be unreasonable to lead the flop hoping that MP3 raises something like AK either. That way UTG should fold if he has a gutshot.

River seems to me.... maybe I'm a tad weak and UTG just made two pair but I'm seeing a straight draw that came in.

"Grunch"
Preflop is fine to me
I bet out the flop due to the fact that I would figure both players have pretty strong holdings and the board is coordinated and high. If i get reraised then I am probably going into call down mode but this might be weak.
If I wasnt reraised on the flop then I bet out on the turn.
River I call down probably to lose to a straight but without any reads before hand I don't know
Guessing that UTG had KQ and MP3 had pocket Jacks

protect your bankroll from growing?

no need to protect when you have a monster.

get more bets in on the flop.

you worry too much if every 3 gapped cards constitute a straight hitting on the river.

your flop and turn play make no sense.

Even if you were trying to protect your hand on the turn, which you didn't succeed in and wouldn't due to the betters relative position, there is no reason to protect your hand. Raise for value on the flop.

I think I'd've c/r the flop. Otherwise nh. I think you see two pair Ace's up more often than not.
