AQ on the Button - 1 limper
$0.10 BB (8 handed) Absolute-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)
SB ($3.80) BB ($22.55) UTG ($12.83) UTG+1 ($5.30) MP1 ($4.10) MP2 ($4.60) CO ($2.60) Hero ($5.80) Preflop: Hero is Button with , . UTG calls $0.10, 4 folds</font>, Hero raises to $0.4</font>, 1 fold</font>, BB calls $0.30, UTG calls $0.30. I see nothing wrong with the Raise here - Villon is 17/5/2 so I was concerned about some tricky play. Flop: ($1.25) , , (3 players)</font> BB checks, UTG bets $0.4</font>, Hero calls $0.40, BB folds. DAMN - his .40 bet is a good bet (for him). Sure he COULD have a King but I have a nut flush draw and an over card. Turn: ($2.05) (2 players)</font> UTG bets $2</font>, Hero calls $2. What do you think about this call. $2 to what I believe is a winning ace OR a nut flush. I'm thinking I did not have the odds (10 outs I was thinking but I was in TOO DEEP NOW!! Comments? River: ($6.05) (2 players)</font> UTG checks, Hero checks. Final Pot: $6.05 |

Re: AQ on the Button - 1 limper
I raise the flop. So far in my experience, all these weak lead bets are god only knows what, because I raise them and they fold like 80% of the time.
The way you played, I fold the turn. You don't have odds to draw, id just give up. If you had a little more money behind I might bluff the river. He looks likes hes got some smaller pocket pairlike 7s or something, that I think you could get him to fold. But I wouldnt do that all the time, just throwing it out as something to think about |

Re: AQ on the Button - 1 limper
Better look - sorry
Yea - I figured I was beat and was in a squishy tilty sort of way. Lost a 1 outer on the river earlier for a BUNCH! The Gods were being unfair and I logged off after this hand. $0.10 BB (8 handed) Absolute Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) SB ($3.80) BB ($22.55) UTG ($12.83) UTG+1 ($5.30) MP1 ($4.10) MP2 ($4.60) CO ($2.60) Hero ($5.80) Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Re: AQ on the Button - 1 limper
Reload preflop. You have no business sitting with 58 BBs.
PSR the flop normally, but given your stack you should just push. |

[/ QUOTE ] eh, there's not any significant advantage, other than a full stack is slightly more willing to get in with your 60BB stack than he should be. You lose on the implied odds front (wouldn't you rather be able to stack another player for 100BB when you hit your set or well concealed straight?) |
