What range do you push here?
I don't have SNGPT and probably should get it, but for those of you who do have it, what ranges would you push in the following scenario...
Blinds 75/150 (4-handed) Fold to Hero.. Hero (SB) $940 Villain(BB) $2,010 I think my M is low enough that it is +cEV to push any two cards here. Can anyone show me some math behind it or voice some opinions? |

Re: What range do you push here?
Well it depends on BB's calling range... You still have 6 BBs, which is actually a lot in a fast sng.

BB doesn't want to call off a third of his stack with a wide range on the bubble. I push what I would push if we were heads up ITM and I was first to act, knowing that he would not call as though we were heads up. EDIT: ...which means I might push a few more hands than if we were heads up. |

Re: What range do you push here?
$11 - regular. BB doesn't seem to be calling with very many hands, probably top 15%ish. No other stacks are low or about to go out. I have 940 in SB and he has 2,010 in the BB. Blinds are 75/150. My initial thought was any two would be good push here, but now I'm not so sure.

Re: What range do you push here?
If you want us to do the sngpt math, then you have to post the whole hand (no of ppl, stacks in order, etc)

Re: What range do you push here?
I have no idea what the other stacks are, but a good idea is roughly the top 60% or so on the bubble with 6bb in the SB when you are by far the shortest stack. This is of course all very generalized and depends somewhat on the other stack sizes. If there is another short stack at the table for example, you would play a bit tighter then you would if everyone has you covered 2 or more fold.

Re: What range do you push here?
This depends hugely on what the other two stacks look like.
Also, please don't ask other people to do SNGPT calculations for you. The program only costs $80 and is worth its price ten times over. |
