NL100 - AQ OOP - Is bet fold good here?
Villain running at 18/11/5.
I would normally reraise here pf about 90% of the time. Is check call ok on flop? And is the river a bet fold? Re: NL100 - AQ OOP - Is bet fold good here?
Nothing wrong with an occasional passive line to mix it up. But you have to ask what the purpose of your river bet is. On this board v this villain in the CO, I think I would be happy to get to showdown as cheaply as possible, so river is a blocking bet presumably? I prefer check/call river, you're ahead of half the Aces and most pairs, obv behind lots, so I wouldn't fold, but wouldn't be looking for value.

why not check/call the river?

By checking will we miss value from AJ and KQ, or is this too small a part of his range?

I dont think KQ calls a river bet here. I agree with check/call.
