the SB has 86o, standard icm shove, but he makes it 4x. can someone explain why thats reasonable? i mean maybe to a nonreg it looks stronger than a shove (maaaaaaybe). but it gives donkeys too many options i think. they look at screen and see 'fold' 'call' or ohhhhhhhhhh i can raise !! i duno i dont ever make it 4x here with trash.

The only reason I can think of is that because he is so short and maybe has shoved bvb often already it will mask an otherwise weak looking shove by seeming like a standardish raise. Isn't great to do often but I guess it can occasionally work.

If bb is a multitabler a raise makes sense since he won't see immediately you are basically allin and will call tighter.

its a good psychological trick imo. the fact that you're posting this explains it. its a lot easier to call here with 98s than it is to reshove with it.

i like it,i mean iam a lower buyin-reg(11,22) but there this is to 90% a monsterhand, although i dont like the 4bb,think 2-3bb looks alot stronger
