$5 MTT, on button with 4BB, 6 limpers ...
~100 ppl left out of ~1500 in $5 MTT, down to 4BB, on button, 6 limpers, table seems very loose and passive (the only solid player is in cutoff)
1. What range of hands a. can fold here? b. should just shove here? 2. K6cc a clear shove? (getting at least 2.5:1 with one caller) |

Re: $5 MTT, on button with 4BB, 6 limpers ...
6 limpers this late in a tourney? Scary.
Well, the good news is that if you push here you'll have a chance to triple or quadruple up. I actually have no idea how reasonable this range is but I'll give it a try: A9+, KQ, 77+ and maybe jump down to include suited connectors and gappers that are unlikely to be dominated from 86s through JTs. But this is a bizarre spot and I would love someone to tell me that my range is way off so I can learn something. Matt |

Re: $5 MTT, on button with 4BB, 6 limpers ...
4BB you're not getting folds. also, i'm assuming antes.
and with 6 limpers chances are it will snowball into like 4 or 5 callers of your shove. i'd push any two suited cards over 6. any two unsuited over 9. any pair, any ace. i mean it really might be ATC with all the $ in the pot, but that's just what i'd prefer. since youre in semi LP you do have a few hands to wait so the 32, 42 etc might not appeal to you with 6 people already showing interest in their hand. |
