it kinda did. [/ QUOTE ] Seriously, what are you talking about. It affects maybe one hand KhJh. I was already losing to AQ, and he likely doesn't bet QQ on the flop anyway. |

Oh, sorry, I thought the Q hit many hands in his range.

Oh, sorry, I thought the Q hit many hands in his range. [/ QUOTE ] no problem, you must have misunderstood his hand range for calling the 3bet and betting the flop AND turn |

[ QUOTE ] Fold now. But it didn't have to be that way... [/ QUOTE ] What does this even mean? The Q doesn't change anything. [/ QUOTE ] It means, if you are 3betting this hand out of the BB against this BTN opponent then you need to be either betting this flop or c/r'ng it. As played, you set yourself up to either being bluffed too frequently or conversely, paying off to often. This line makes it extremely difficult for you to consistently be making the correct decision which in turn will find yourself losing a big pot instead of winning a small one. |

Taking passive lines without any real goal against decent/aggressive players is not going to yield good results. I mean if you look at your line from a range perspective, it's very questionable. If villain knows you're folding AJ here then he should double barrel this spot with 100% of his range. He's risking $90 on $130 meaning he only has to be right 40% of the time to show a profit, or in other words more than 60% of your range that check/calls the flop has to be AQ+, and that's most likely just not the case.
