Re: NL25 line check: set on ...censored... board
Bet more on the flop, push turn. As played, I would have a hard time not calling the river. The only hand with an Ace that I can put him on is AQ, but he's far more likely to have two pair with the other broadway cards. |

Re: NL25 line check: set on ...censored... board
Shove turn with his stack size. It's possible enough that he paired his Q with his OESD or some othre garbage hand that I don't mind getting it in.

Call ok? [/ QUOTE ] I think calling the turn is the right play. [ QUOTE ] Good fold? [/ QUOTE ] BB's river push is only one-third of the pot. I think folding this river is a mistake. |

How likely is it that villain thinks you have an ace? The more likely he is to think you have an ace, the less likely he is to slide without one.

Re: NL25 line check: set on ...censored... board
As for pushing the turn: you really think he has something like two-pair more than a straight? Or is it a combination of getting value if ahead and filling up if behind? How´s the maths going here?

Re: NL25 line check: set on ...censored... board
I think this is a good spot to overbet the Flop BIG. Like 4$. Call River all day long. To bad you can´t reraise him for another 25$ to let him taste his own medicine.

[/ QUOTE ] You don't really give us much to go on, but I tend to think half stacks are donks so I gave him a pretty wide range and ran it through pokerstove. I left out most of the Ax [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] junk, but if you think he could play a flush draw this way then you can add them in but it doesn't change much.
