AQs TP on drawy flop, 3b, 3b shove, or call?
Villain is 20/15/5 over 350 hands, typical TAG. Do we 3b, or 3b shove this flop? I called and was going to CRAI on a safe turn, except villain put his stack in first. If we 3b this flop then it may push out draws, right? This seems basic but I'm still unsure for some reason.

Re: AQs TP on drawy flop, 3b, 3b shove, or call?
The stacks are no where deep enuff for a crai on the turn. The pot is 30.25 and hes 30.50 deep. This means you either have to lead out ai on the turn, or 3bet all in on the flop. A crai is not at all an option since you either face a push or a small bet which gives u no fold equity. The decision here has to be made on the flop. I lean towards 3bet pushing this flop.

Since you called the flop, I like shoving turn to maximize FE. I dunno if I like flop too much though.

Flop is marginal, on the turn your stacking off evrerytime.

I didn't mean to imply that the play was wrong, only that his reason (FE = equity from the chance you fold out a better hand) was wrong. |

Re: AQs TP on drawy flop, 3b, 3b shove, or call?
Villain is “typical TAG” and you’re going all-in with TPGK and a backdoor flush draw? Villain doesn’t have JJ+ or AK since he only called preflop, but raising your flop bet says he’s caught a good piece of the flop and pushing with top pair doesn’t seem smart, so the call is good. Good chance he’s got A8, A9, two high spades or maybe suited T7. I may be weak-tight but his turn all-in screams you’re against two pair, a set, or a made straight. I’d fold to his all-in.

Re: AQs TP on drawy flop, 3b, 3b shove, or call?
The real decision here is on the flop. The stack to pot ratio is just under seven and you need to decide whether or not you want to get all-in against this opponent with TP2K. If you're going to call the raise on the flop you need to be happy he's moving in on the turn. Otherwise I think you made a mistake in calling. I don't know that I'd want to stack off against this opponent in this spot, so I may fold on the flop. If I was going to play I'd 3bet all-in.
