Re: tend to fold middleset
I think you definitely need to jack this up when you first get led into. There are a ton of draws out and you're not likely to be able to fold if a scare card comes on the turn since so many players are short.

Re: tend to fold middleset
spots not fun but I would push and live with the result sinse no-one has more than 70bb except for button that you say not having top set (and probably not a huge draw and will probably fold to the push). if BB or MP was much deeper I think its a fold.

Re: tend to fold middleset
Well.. if you can`t put anyone on KK you have the odds to call .
I don`t like your passive play in this hand though. |

Re: tend to fold middleset
I like raising the first time and calling the second.

Re: tend to fold middleset
ye, i also think its a call (at the end) now
but back to when it comes first to me. i still think calling may be good here. by raising i fold out ALL 2pair, bottom set etc hands which i beat and have to get it in against KK obv (which is not too unlikly since we are 6way (assume UTG doesnt have it so 4 possible KK holders) and against the monster draws wich i am a small fav against. The pot is still relativly small, so i thought its best here to wait for a save turn and get it in there, hopefully against weaker made hands since my play on first view really doenst look like middleset and they might stick it in there |

Re: tend to fold middleset
Easy fold the second time through. Probably raise 1st time through.

Re: tend to fold middleset
i don't really have a problem with the flat-call. i generally think it's ok to slow-play a set, especially middle set, since often the only hands you'll get action from on the flop either have you dominated or are near coin-flips anyway, and if the turn card kills the action, it will be to your benefit more often than not. and you prob have to call the double-push now. it might be different if BB weren't on a half stack, but his pushing range is wide, and MP probably knows that so his is too.
