Default Some guy is absolutly destroying the NFL this year

This has been brought up on a few sports boards and I thought it may be interesting here. Someone in a Yahoo league is killing the NFL ATS. I'm not sure how often the spreads move on yahoo, but this is impressive nonetheless.

12/13 and 13/13 back to back, worst week this season at 7-7. Much better than variance.

I think Roughrider39 starting off 15-0 in the Hilton contest this year is more impressive.

i was all ready to start following, until i saw a) these are just straight up, and b) there are a bunch of people with 88 and 87 just behind him in the standings...

pretty good job, so far...

LOLOLOL

Yeah, you never ever see four or five standard deviations from the mean. Never happens. Ever. I think 3.5 StDv from the norm is where the bell curve actually hits 0.

He's just picking winners, not vs the spread.

This thread is silly.
It's not even against the spread.
Even it was: out of the zillions of people playing that thing it's not THAT ridiculous to pick 24/25.

Think about the people who successfully pick 7 out of 7 numbers between 1-50 to win the lottery.
Their 'success' at doing this doesn't really make them more likely to be able to do it again either.

Really long odds...but it's still just variance.
