NL 25 a couple hands from todays session
Woo what a crappy day. I really think finishing with 666 dollars for October on Halloween cursed me.
In this hand villain is an MTing reg. I'm pretty sure he knows I am capable of 3 betting fairly light in this spot. Should I check here? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (4 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) BB ($70.25) UTG ($33.20) Button ($35.70) Hero ($22.10) Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Button raises to $1, Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, Button calls $2. Flop: ($6.25) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero ??? Hand 2. I had no reads on villain here, but in the hands I saw him play after he seemed like a reasonable TAG. Should I have bet the turn? Check raise AI? If I do call the turn, do I check/fold river? Re: NL 25 a couple hands from todays session
Hand 2 is a very difficutlt spot and its the reason i went back to sng's. Or maybe im just a donkament idiot. The six didnt improve his hand unless he had 66. I think i fold here but then agian im a donkament player. NO reason to lose a 100+bb with a pair.

Re: NL 25 a couple hands from todays session
I'd bet/3bet the flop on hand 1, there's almost nothing he could continue with if he's a tight MT'ing reg. He's the button, his raising range is way wider than your 3betting range, regardless of how light you 3ball.
Hand 2 I don't like the turn check but since you did I think you have to shove over -- too many players float until they can take it away and you don't have enough behind to raise/fold. 25NL players don't typically "pot for value". |
