What to do?
20-40 live 9 handed. I have TAG image. The rest of the players are decent but not great. Its a decent game.
I raise UTG QQ and get called in 5 places including the blinds. The flop: QdKcTh I bet and all call. The turn: QdKcThAs Checked to me. What is my plan for the rest of the hand? |

Re: What to do?
This may seem weak tight but I c/c turn and c/f river unimproved.

Re: What to do?
b/c is good when raised by two pair, obviously bad when two bets go in against broadway, and really bad if the bet gets 3 bet behind us. Im surprised at a decent game as described if someone had a J they didnt pump the flop.

Re: What to do?
5 people called the flop bet on a rainbow board, someone has got to have a J. I check/call the turn and usually fold the river ui.

Suppose a late position bet, and I'm the only caller. If I check the river unimproved, that person just might bet two pair thinking he's good. Like I said, who's left and how many left. Garland |

Re: What to do?
Although it is scary to be called by 5 other players and now have this board on the turn it seems as though there are quite a few hands that may call a turn bet that I have beat: AQ,AK,AT,QT,KQ,KT Ax. These are all hands that could have called a preflop raise. Even if I get raised I would have a good redraw. Is loosing value from these calls by checking worth the money saved those times I am raised?
If I get raised it comes down to who did the raising and from where as to whether I will call a river bet. What if there were two diamonds on the flop instead of a rainbow? Would this change your decision on the turn? If I decide to check the turn and it gets checked through what is your plan on the river? |
