25 NL 6 Max - 2 difficult hands against LAG
Villain was running at 38/15/12 and playing extremely loose and aggressive, but wasn't really what I would call a good LAG.
Hand 1: Although he's been getting involved in a lot of pots, this was the first time he'd 3 bet me preflop. Advice on all streets appreciated, especially whether calling or raising the flop is best, and turn decision... Suggestions on alternate lines I could have taken would be great. Best to check-call, bet-fold or bet-call the flop..? I feel that my hand is pretty much face up as AA, KK, QQ and that villain could be doing this putting me on those hands (of course taking his chances that I have an unlikely AA for the flopped set). I would 3bet AK and AQ out of the blinds too against this guy, but I'm not sure if he knows that. Re: 25 NL 6 Max - 2 difficult hands against LAG
i would say that if you are not willing to ship it in on the flop on hand 1 you should probably just fold AQ pf, turn changes nothing imo; hand 2 is fine as long as you folded

Re: 25 NL 6 Max - 2 difficult hands against LAG
hand 1: fold preflop (if you think TPTK isn't beating his hand) or raise flop (if you think your TPTK is beating his hand). raise flop would be my suggestion.
hand 2: fold. At 25NL it's a safe assumption that nobody raises you without an A on an A high board in a reraised pot. |
