HUSNG--Missed small pocket pairs
How do you play missed pocket pairs in position and OOP assuming you raised preflop?
Cbet any flop? check/fold? ?? For example...did i play this okay?: Full Tilt Poker, $5 + $0.25 NL Hold'em Sit n' Go, 15/30 Blinds, 2 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter Hero (BB): 1,640 SB: 1,360 Pre-Flop: (45) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB) SB calls 15, Hero raises to 90, SB calls 60 Flop: (180) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, SB bets 180, Hero folds Results: 180 Pot SB mucked and WON 180 (+90 NET) |

Re: HUSNG--Missed small pocket pairs
Probably raise to 120 with these stacks and cbet this dry of a flop for like 150-180.
Any reads on villain here? |

Re: HUSNG--Missed small pocket pairs
I don't usually raise these because I think they are very hard to play because of the tendency of opponents I face to call me down lightly and I am out of position. So I usually go set farming with 22-77
Am I leaving value out there by not raising these oop after a limp? |

Re: HUSNG--Missed small pocket pairs
Isn't it odd that you raise on the button, which you probably don't do often, then check? At least c-bet then go from there. If you bet 2/3 of the pot they don't need to fold too often for this to be profitable, and they will probably fold often.
That is the standard line. You would obv have to make some decisions after a call and fold to a raise. |

Re: HUSNG--Missed small pocket pairs
I make it 110 pf and 130 on the flop. But that's just nitpicking the details. The main thing you need to know is that checking here is just asking to get robbed.
